Nick started his career in Melbourne, and brings a multi-layered framework to each patient, drawing on structural osteopathy, biomechanical analysis, and visceral osteopathy to assess and treat the full picture. Where many practitioners focus solely on the site of pain, Nick is trained to identify the root cause, including structural, fascial, and organ-related factors that contribute to why the body holds tension and dysfunction. This is especially relevant for patients with recurring or long-standing pain, where a restricted diaphragm may drive mid-back, neck and headache patterns, or the colon's fascial attachments quietly contributes to low back pain.
His additional training in breathwork and nervous system regulation informs both his clinical reasoning and his hands-on work. For patients whose pain is amplified by stress, poor sleep, or a chronically activated nervous system, this dimension of his practice offers something most osteopaths do not.
