Amy comes from a family devoted to the practice of good health, as both her parents are successful naturopaths in Adelaide. Amy emigrated to Sydney in 2007 to study Chiropractic at Macquarie University. She graduated with a Master of Chiropractic in 2011. In 2012 she was snapped up by Central Sydney Osteopathy.
Amy has developed a dynamic, comprehensive approach to treatment. She works from a holistic understanding of the body, while accessing and utilising a strong evidence based approach.
Amy is small, but mighty. Don't be fooled! She has a keen interest in treating pain and discomfort during pregnancy, as well as assessing and treating post-partum mums. Her aim is to make mum’s body as mobile and mechanically adaptable and to facilitate an optimal birth experience to allow mum and baby to safely grow and enjoy their mutual experience.
Amy is a mother of three and so has lots of experience and advice to inform her practice. She has worked with Drummoyne Rugby Club and Drummoyne National League water polo, has played basketball at district level and touch football at state representative level. She enjoys keeping fit and active, and loves her work.
Amy also has her own website, Balanced Bumps. The website shares her knowledge and experience with pregnancy-related complaints. She provides information to help women understand what is going on with their body during pregnancy and what can be done to help; from pre-conception through pregnancy, labour, delivery and post-partum.
